Amazing fish. Love the brilliant red, contrast with the white, the teal line and of course the long fins!

Yeah I love the crisp white and red. I just hope it has the same personality as a Naokoe.

I don’t know if I’ve ever shown so much self control and then regretted it after…
I was helping with import fish to get and a Shutmani occurred on the list. It didn’t specify female or male and I figured the Choati was more important (now realising that choati may be years away and may even come in male)…

Atleast I have one wrasse coming home tomorrow.

Wrasses arrived. H. chrysus shipped in black bag definitely alive:

M. bipartitis in black bag DOA. But there is movement in the bag with sand, so the second one might have made it.
Tank still looks like this:

Red Sea ammonia test looking Zero currently, but still 10 minutes left in test.

Should I:
1. Change water and hope it clarifies?
2. Just acclimate them and let them into the tank cloudy?
3. Wait with them in the bag until the tank clears up (no idea how long that will take)?

Is there a way you can have them in a separate holding tank until the water clears up? The cloudy water might stress them up more and since they are already stressed from travel that wouldn’t be good

He's looking at that cloudy tank and thinking what the heck. I traveled in a bag for this!

The chrysus will burry. I don't think it will be an issue.

I'm doing a full water change. I rinsed the sand as much as I could, but apparently not enough.

M. bipartitis. Did a full water change, and this is what I have now:

I'm going to go ahead and start temp acclimating them. Not how I thought things were going to go today.
