Well, I guess my "2-3 Red Coris Wrasse: Juvenile is a little older than I thought. It's been eating like a hog, growing rapidly and I think it's starting to morph. Could be wrong but starting to see blue at base of tail and edges of fins. I never really have found a clear answer on the morph age/time?? Consensus from reading various sources was about 2 years.
Mine is much bigger then many that have gone female but remains a juvenile. It has had the blue edges since I got it. I may be imagining it but Its tail seems darker too but no proof its transitioning. I wish it would hurry up and evolve.

Was hard to get a photo through the dirty glass, and poor guy looked like he had parasites. Had same discoloration on scales as Goldfinger did.

I know the old Oddjobs were different, but they were both reddish, so iridis is the new Oddjob!

That iridis will be stunning when matured ;)
My favourite Halichoeres wrasse is definitely a Radiant, there’s just nothing like them in the genus (Outside of the genus there’s a couple wrasses that look like the iridis but I like them equally).

Why that tank and not your other tank? Just curious because you have some rude dudes in that tank.

Dusky in the 55 is a beast and so is the coral beauty. That's how I lost my earmuff.

This guy is super chill, swam right into the box when the girl scooped him up. He swam right out of my pitcher and started eating like he'd been in the tank a while.

Blofeld did come up to say hi. They were like dogs sniffing each other's butts, then swam away.
Gaimard swatted for a second, then didn't care at all and they all went back to eating happily.

Not to hijack the thread, but what's been everyone's experiences with the Timor Wrasse? I've been seeing a couple in some tank pics and was curious.
I think they are very pretty but can be a bit more aggressive. Like a Melanurus in aggression levels. Saying that mine calmed down when I added my dusky wrasse who is bigger and is a far more benevolent alpha wrasse.
