That store is selling fish I seen on social media. Guess they cleaned up there disease infested tanks

I don't know, the hump in the back makes it look very odd. Almost like it has a disease of some sort.

Yeah, not sure. I did a little tweaking to this photo (straightening him out), this was when it was just chilling right off the bottom not swimming. When he swam it evened out and looked normal. Doesn't seem to affect him at all, still going crazy for frozen foods.

Question about an Earle’s fairy wrasse and Laboute’s fairy wrasse

Big price difference so I’d like to know in real life is there much if a visual difference? They both look beautiful but I’m not sure an Earle’s fairy is worth the premium price.

*i realize why the Earle’s fairy is more expensive, due to the depths at which they are retrieved. My question pertains only to comparing the visual aspects of each with regard to price. I’m not questioning why one is more expensive than the other

Earlei males are gorgeous in person. I would not hesitate to buy one again if money permitted, they're my favorite fairy wrasse because they look and act different than most fairy wrasses. But being a deep water wrasse they are very jumpy, sadly I've lost two of them to hitting the edge of my lid during tank maintenance.

Huge difference in appearance in person. Here are a few pictures of my Earl. I love the earls but not the Laboute’s. Everyone likes what they like. For me if you got the cash get the earls lol! Earls is a smaller fairy wrasse also

It very much looks like the candy basslet. I wanted a pair but held off hoping for an earl.

Just looked up the price of the earlei......And I thought a chaoti was up there.

99% of the fish @Unique Fins has listed on their site is well out of my price range. I often do not get the pricing on some of these fish.

Although if I had the disposable income, I would love a soapfish.

Another nice wrasse coming this week, first in the trade

Honestly, they’re nice but not my cup of tea personally… I’d have a roseafascia over a lanceolatus. Theyre just not all that fascinating to me.

Honestly, I like the relatives but don’t like the lanceolatus as much. If it was affordable I might just to be able to say ‘I’ve owned one’ but other than that probably not.

I do like the blue metallic fins on them but I believe that is only seen during displays and my wrasses don’t display all too often, when they do it’s rarely the ones I want to see in display (Attenuatus and Finifenmaa).
