You can’t call yourself Macropharyngodon and not put the scientific name! It’s M geoffoyri
XD. I'm sorry... but as we can clearly see, spelling it is a task 😂

In all seriousness this is an amazing achievement, and I am super excited to see what comes next in the tale of captive breeding of Macropharyngodon Geoffroyi!

I know of a Wrasse police, but is there a Wrasse ambulance? :)

They toss you in a bath of Labroides dimidiatus to eat off all your parasites and diseased skin. Like a modern day leach treatment

These ambulances are very fast, can go airborne and also accurate aims through really tight squeeze to get through the smallest gaps. Some can even bore underground.

Talking of leopards… today I joined back into the Leopard game! She does have a bit of a fluke issue, so will temporarily go into the 3 footer, but hopefully it won’t be too long before she is fat once again and loving life!

This is a female Macropharyngodon vivienae - Vivien’s Leopard. I sourced my first one about a year ago now, but unfortunately I believe I lost her to a battle with flukes, so this girl is hitting the nano and being treated for them through 3 Prazi doses, then fattening up and hitting my 5 foot wrasse system.

I’ve always loved the Choati but man, since seeing @Tcook with his Vivien, it made me question my ranking of the Macro species and well, I got a Vivien and earlier this year I had a Choati, I honestly preferred the Vivien’s colouring.

My hope is I can source a Negrosensis and Choati and I may actually get a “Macropharyngodon” (Halichoeres) fairly soon if I decide to pull the trigger and grab one of the two currently sat in my LFS - I’ll let you guess what species I’m referring to 😉
