Wonder who besides NYA uses them. I hate to spend a bunch on flashers since their life expectancy is so short but that guy might make me change my mind.
Are you referring to Paracheilinus hemitaeniatus or the one NYA has in now - the Mauritius Flasher Wrasse | Paracheilinus piscilineatus ?

I was in my LFS yesterday and the owner told me he is getting in a couple of Madacascar flashers in this week.

The timorensis wrasse after about 4 months. Facial markings are looking more Halichoeres-like, and black marks are showing up, intermingling with the orange along her sides. Her dorsal and caudal spots are still strong, so if she's thinking about becoming a he, it's still way early.

Per @HairyGary 's request, here are a couple vids of my collection.

Wrasse wise I've got:
- Lineatus (M) 6"
- Flame (M) 5"
- Velvet Multicolor (M) 5"
- Golden Rhomboid (M) 3.5"
- Labouti (M) 3.5"
- Pintail Isosceles (Juv) 3"
- Pearlyscale (M) 5.5"

I just rebooted this tank about 8 months ago. The big mertensii carpet was from the tank's prior existence as a clown harem mixed reef. My corals are really just tester frags at this point with limited success. I don't think I've hit that maturity sweet spot to grow SPS in this system yet. My 3.5 year old RSR Nano grows SPS well, so I am pretty confident it's not user error.

Dang, all those nice wrasses plus....a Bandit Angel.....plus a Black Tang.....plus a Declivis Butterfly! Beautiful!

Thank you! I had a very curated list that I spent a couple years and quite a bit of cash getting in there. Lost 2 bandits and 3 rhomboids in quarantine to swim bladder issues along the way.

Adding an Aussie Harlequin Tusk in the next week (been in QT for 3 weeks now) or so then I’m done on fish until I upgrade to a 260-300 in a few years.

Unless I can find a good price on one of those Madagascar Hemi Flashers... [emoji14]

Are C. linneatus out of season right now? Haven't seen one for sale in quite awhile.

Not sure if they really have a season. I had mentioned the Borbonius because they are very deep water fish 75% of the year. Linneatus are deep water but not as crazy. I think it just depends on who is collecting where at the moment. I could be totally off though...

I have those “on deck” fish already in QT. So it’s just a waiting game. No need to grab them.
Pictures or it didn't happen! ;)

How big of a tank? With the Nahacky and the Hooded so closely related I hope its big. Impressive list but you are missing two of my favorites - Rhomboidalis and Johnsoni!

m the rhomboids are in QT as well. Forgot them lol. I have 2.
The tank is 960g. 8x4x4. I actually put the nahacky and hooded in at same time. They pay no attention to each other
