Okay, thanks. I'll start reading. I thought to bring the color out you meant other males, but not same species, got it.

I haven't just dropped any in the tank yet, don't worry.

Right, other males of other species. Sorry for the poor wording!

Oh, and Go Hogs! :D

LFS have a C. rubimarginatus in the week. In fact two of them a male and a female.
anyone with experience with them? They are much cheaper than a C. lineatus. IMO, they look just as beautiful from pictures but have not seen one healthy in person.
Anybody with experience with them? What do you think?
Here is a poor phone picture of the female

I’ve never had one but assume the temperament is similar to Lineatus. Pretty much middle of the road.

I received my 2 Diamond Tail Flasher wrasses from NY Aquatic this past Tuesday. Been waiting to get these for a while.

I love me some wrasse's, so I want to see everyone's wrasse pictures! Please share!

I've been practicing my fish taking.. Snapped a decent one of my Naoko Wrasse, still need to polish up on my skills though!

One of the two Diamond Tail Flasher I got from @NYAquatic. Actually this one is my friend's wrasse. I am having him in my QT for a few weeks. Hard to take pictures in my QT. Will try to get better pictures later.

My lennardi is small if that would change the outcome?
I’m not sure, but I’ve never seen excessive bullying between any Anampses wrasse. The lennardi as a super male is a stunning fish, but sadly one I’ll never own as they get too big...

@evolved Will anampses feminus be fine with Anampses lennardi in the same tank?

Now you're just showing off! :D

Seriously, kudos to you! I know A. lennardi can be difficult to keep and A. femininus is my dream fish.

Couldn’t agree more... I’ve got a few LFS looking out for a Feminimus for me but they don’t appear in the UK very often...

Thanks for the tip! Would that be a good thing to use for the femininus too?

I'm nearing the end of stocking my 6' tank and showed my wife a picture of A. femininus last night...with the price tag in view. She said if ever a fish was worth that, that one is! :D I'm taking that as consent! The search is on!
