How do they mix Ornatus up with Kuiteri?Quick bucket picture before they go in QT
Ornatus right?
Idk and i think i mentioned a few days ago these are also elstraight from Sri Lanka. Outside of kuiteri range. Best case scenario for them is just that they dont have that many resources to compare the twoHow do they mix Ornatus up with Kuiteri?
That’s definitely not a kuiters as it’s too deep of a brown/red.
Definitely - I saw a large male in person and they’re beautiful. Still didn’t compare to the Vivian’s, Gold Nuggets or the Jewelled though haha.Idk and i think i mentioned a few days ago these are also elstraight from Sri Lanka. Outside of kuiteri range. Whatever it may be it's still a nice leopard wrasse that I have yet to keep and add to my tank
I really want a vivien and jewelled. I think one of our big wholesaler, Quality marine, still has some of each but I havent checked the price for those and not sure if I can meet their $500 minimum and afford them overall right now. Totally get you - Don’t think I could ever spend quite so much on a vivien (£220), maybe a hybrid but even then that’s pushing it.I really want a vivien and jewelled. What wrasses do you have already?Any suggestions for another wrasse for my red sea e260? It is 36" X 22.6" X 22".
Got another vid of the pencil wrasse this morning during feeding... Im loving the coloration :star-struck:

Splendid, but juvenile. What species of pencil is that? I’ve never seen one that looks like that before!
Technically a transitional phase from female to initial phase maleSplendid, but juvenile.
Fair enough, but im not as technical as "most"... I enjoy my stock...Technically a transitional phase from female to initial phase male
I wouldn’t do the kole unless you have the full 48 inch length. Solar Wrasses can get rather nasty so I’d avoid them, the Lubbock’s fairy wrasse has some nice blues when they flash (Still need to time it right in getting a photo of one of mine flashing). Exquisite should be alright, the flasher ideally I’d try get a 48 inch tank for them, 40 would push it but I think it’s possible. How does this list look for wrasse compatibility? I included evrything I'm considering. I have a waterbox infinia 125.3, which has an 85 gallon display roughly 40x24x23 inches. I'm looking at the following fish:
2 Clownfish
Flasher wrasse - Carpenter's or McCosker's
Goby with shrimp
Midas blenny
Royal gramma
Kole tang
Mandarin
Exquisite wrasse
Solar wrasse
Leopard wrasse of some kind
Is there another wrasse that would work instead of the flasher? Maybe another leopard?I wouldn’t do the kole unless you have the full 48 inch length.
