I love me some wrasse's, so I want to see everyone's wrasse pictures! Please share!

I've been practicing my fish taking.. Snapped a decent one of my Naoko Wrasse, still need to polish up on my skills though!

I think @SaltyT or @Crabby48 has a large male Vivien and Choat?

Crabby has Both I do believe
Cool hopefully they are able to post some pics! I have an ornate, she’s a good size just smaller, I’d say a solid 3”+ and I’ve had her for a few months now. Very happy and she’s one of my favorite fish. I would love to see some good 5-6” big wrasses

I have a 5.5” wrasse… not a leopard but still a 5.5” sand sleeper :)

I'm putting up a 200 Gallon reef**** (with snails, conches, etc) with your normal crew (purple tang, yellow tang, clowns, foxface, goby, etc) and my wife and I want a Wrasse. If you guys could do it all over again what would you choose?

I could name hundreds… Any way to narrow it down? Personality? Colours? Sand sleepers?

Hopefully this isn’t frowned upon here but I caught this beautiful yellow cheek wrasse. Colors are amazing. It was safely released!

I absolutely love my guy, he has to be Atleast 10x more mellow than others explain it to be.

Wonder if I got a large enough tank it would be a stunning wrasse. Wonder whether it would be aggressive with other wrasses though.

My wife liked the Dusky Wrasse pictures I showed her. I've never had a wrasse at this point so I'm open to suggestions. Sand sleeper would be fine if your normal crabs aren't going to mess with it.

More like the wrasse would mess with the crabs.
Here’s a few guys I’d recommend:

- Cirrhilabrus roseafascia or Rose band Fairy *
- Cirrhilabrus isosceles or Pintail Fairy
- Cirrhilabrus finifinenmaa or Rose Veil Fairy
- Cirrhilabrus bathyphilus or Hooded Fairy *
- Cirrhilabrus aquamarinus or Red Head Solon Fairy
- Cirrhilabrus lubbocki or Lubbock’s Fairy
- Halichoeres biocellatus or Redstripe *
- Halichoeres rubricephalus or Ruby Head *
- Halichoeres leucoxanthus or Silver Belly
- Paracheilinus lineopunctatus or Line Spot/Dot Dash Flasher *
- Paracheilinus attenuatus or Diamond Tail Flasher *
- Paracheilinus cyaneus or Blue Flasher *

And then for later down the line with a mature tank:
- Pseudojuloides atavai or Atavai Pencil *^
- Pseudojuloides severnsi or Royal Pencil *^
- Pseudojuloides splendens or Splendid Pencil *^
- Macropharyngodon bipartitus or Blue Star Leopard ^
- Macropharyngodon vivienae or Vivienne’s Leopard *^
- Macropharyngodon kuiteri or Kuiter’s Leopard *^
- Macropharyngodon lapillus or Jewelled Leopard *^
- Macropharyngodon negrosensis or Black Leopard ^
- Macropharyngodon meleagris or Meleagris Leopard ^
- Anampses neoguinaicus or New Guinea Tamarin ^
- Anampses meleagrides or Yellow Tail Tamarin ^
- Anampses melanurus or White Spotted Tamarin ^
- Anampses twistii or Twistii Tamarin *^
- Anampses femininus or Femininus Tamarin *^
- Xenojulis margaritaceus *^

Key:
* means that these wrasses are either extremely finicky or stress prone.
^ means these wrasses are prone to internal parasites.

Obviously there are more but this is just a list of my personal absolute favourites.

Oh man I like the Splendind pintail fairy, that's a good looking fish. The Red Head Solon Fairy isn't bad either.

I'll probably just ignore the internal parasite prone ones, there's tons of variety without the added stress/challenge.

Personally I find they will be healthy as long as they appear healthy in the LFS. A healthy and eating specimen is most likely to thrive in a reef.

I'll be ordering my fish from reef doctor, so I'm not sure worried about that. That's good to know though. They all come eating and QT'd.

I probably should’ve mentioned this before, some will be much pricier than others will be. The femininus is probably the most expensive at around 400.

That's my options more or less and their prices, he does a good job of keeping them competitive even with QT'ing.
