The Wrasse Lover's Thread!

What about a Mariner 70?

It's going to have H. Melanurus and H. Leucoxanthus eventually but for now....

I'm thinking 3 or 4 tangs as well....

That was totally a joke. I'm only going to have a Tomini.
Gem, white tail bristletooth, blue hippo and an Achilles. What's important is that they're all from different genuses!

For wrasses in a 3ft tank that's wider and taller, I'd go with a leopard and a bunch of the smaller side fairies. I'm basically hitting those in mine: Lunatus complex, Rubriventralis complex, Lubbocki complex, Exquisitus Complex and Labouti complex. A C. labouti would be super nice!

I was thinking maybe a Vlamingi?

Should work. It’s a 2’ fish so you have a foot to spare
He won't be able to turn around without bending but that's fine. Fish are really good acrobats.

This works! Now to see if the blue star leopard plays nicely haha! New bffs! Just added the little guy..

That is an incredibly yellow yellow wrasse

Thank you! That’s the joy metal halides and not a blue tank haha! My blue star leopard glows also.. but those two yellow guys are the brightest thing in my tank under natural lighting.

Ok, this is a good one wrassperts!

Local is selling a twin spot that is now too large for his tank (surprise!!). Another local is asking how a twin spot would do in a tank with sharks, rays, eels and tangs.

Jury?
so long as the rock work is solid then it is actually an alright fit.
