Maybe one day! They seem to be quite a challenging Leopard, similar to the Choati.

Majority of my wrasse now are red/pink, so I’m wanting to have something a bit different if I decide to pull the trigger.

Does anyone know if a pink streaked wrasse and a blue star leopard and/or melanarus would all get along? I currently have a pink streaked in my tank who is super peaceful and active, but was thinking of adding another wrasse or two.

The cherub angel does very well with wrasses. Similar livery to the flame back.

I wanted a cherub initially but the flame back just had that vibrant orange and blue. In hindsight, I should’ve removed him when I had the chance…

He’s unfortunately battered my vivien and I don’t think she will recover easily which is infuriating as it’s taken a while to get her nice and fat too. But I now think I know why I’ve had mystery wrasse deaths over the last year as he’s getting more and more dominant - unfortunately he went after my yellow long nose and had her yesterday.

Received my Melanurus this morning. Was looking for some pest control and this is my first wrasse ever. After a quick acclimation from being shipped halfway across the U.S. I dropped it in and it went straight to hunting. This thing is a stone cold killer

Two hours after introduction it had a small pile of Trochus snails flipped over and my Peppermint was curled up dead beside them. This thing doesn’t sleep on the clock

He’s out… maybe now I’ll be more successful with the peaceful wrasses.

Already the lapillus has changed in behaviour since the Flame back came out. She’s much more inquisitive and less skitty around the other fish.

I have both. The pinked streaked and blue star leopard completely ignore eat other. Leopards seem to just do their own thing and are on the hunt for things constantly. Neither interact in any meaningful way.

Probably the meanest of the centropyge. There supposedly is a South American variant that is less aggressive but good luck finding one. The cherub is great. Just putts around the rockwork not paying attention to anything.

The South American is shockingly available quite frequently over here - Centropyge aurantonotus. But it’s not one I’d try. I think if I had another angel I’d go for a Paracentropyge venusta next just because of their behaviour differences.

But for now I’m more looking for other wrasses - currently have an Indo Lubbocki waiting to hit the 5 foot.

Hey guys, I added a Lineatus wrasse to my tank 5 days ago and other than the very first day when I added it - I haven’t seen it since. Should I call it a day and consider it a very expensive loss?

I would call it a day. The lineatus is hidden in the rocks adjusting. Probably coming out at odd hours of the night as it’s not adjusted to the current time zone. Hiding out for 1-2 weeks is common.

The wrasse bug is still going strong… bringing a wrasse for the 5 foot back tomorrow. But currently I have a couple juvenile Wetmorella nigropinnata, and I love my pink streak pair, so what better to do than a pair of these guys?? So I got my current one a Young juvenile/female.

I find it exceedingly difficult to get a good photo of any of my wrasse since they’re always moving. But this one turned out decent.

Just caught up on all the posts since June, lost my Rhomboid and Pintail in the past few months without warning so been a little bummed out, need some more pictures to cheer me up!

For now, until I get the camera back onto my personal tanks check out the pintails we landed on one of our imports. One of my personal favourite fairies!

Well…..it happened. I was such an angel fan until I saw my first leopard in real life. My LFS had a blue star leopard, I immediately asked if she was eating and how long it been at the store. Confirmed it ate, brought her home. Been in QT and eating like a pig.

Now I want to add more leopards. Any advise, I will start looking thru the 1400 pages,
