Tanaka's pygmy wrasse are a cryptic species that does best with peaceful tankmates. The mystery wrasse can get mean to any new fish added after him and is particularly malicious toward other wrasses.

Yes I have had the Tanaka's wrasse for about 5 months now, so adding a mystery wrasse should be fine now?

I'm loving all the wrasses! I wish I could get a flame wrasse, but my tank isn't large enough, plus I have a full house of wrasses now! :(

how do you guys keep them from fighting..my flasher acts fine w/ my red solon for a few days then always starts chasing him around until it hops in the overflow?

I have a Melanurus Wrasse and a Red Head Salon Fairy Wrasse and they get along fine. I have been wanting to add a McCoskers Wrasse but I don't want a blood bath. I am not sure if I will take a chance.
