I don't think thats a black leopard, but rather Halichoeres marginatus, dusky wrasse.

Oh gotcha, it looks sort of similar in that pic. Maybe I'm just seeing them everywhere out of guilt [emoji23]

Ill try to get a better pic sorry bad at photography definitely black leopard
H. marginatus will fairly regularly be mislabeled as a black leopard. The striping on that fish is consistent with marginatus and is much finer than a male M. negroensis.

Ah, so I'm not having guilt-ridden hallucinations from selling one of my favorite fish [emoji39]

Edit. Or I am, I trust @eatbreakfast 's expertise.

I agree. And the head has the wrong shape too (but that's a real subtlety).

That's definitely a black leopard, I just think the first shot was deceiving. I've already posted this pic of mine before, but just for reference:)

Yup; you fooled us both. Macropharyngodon negrosensis it is.

Alright wrasse friends need some help. I have a kuiteri wrasse currently in my display and was able to obtain a choati. The choati was added to the tank today and stayed out for around 30min before going into the sand. It is smaller than the kuiteri. I have had some aggression from the kuiteri but the choati tried to stay out of her way and hang out toward the top of the tank. Any thoughts/recommendations?

I would have recommended an acclimation box, but it's a bit late for that now...
Besides being observant, there's not a lot of options now.
