They should be fine. Just use a social acclimation box when introducing a new wrasse to an existing one.

Hmm i had thought to avoid a rhomboid with a lineatus, (given their closeness in the complex) but you think they should be okay together?

And the labouti, hunter's description has them becoming more aggressive as they mature, how much should this be a worry with otherwise docile wrasses?

I am planing on my all male wrasse tank. How much color are they going to lose if there isn't a female for each species in the tank?

Guys, couldn’t pass Radiant wrasse today! I barely see them where i live. Will i have problems adding these to tank later?

While in the same complex rhomboids are very peaceful and lineatus are middle of the road of aggression. The tank being 150g also helps, as does the fact that there will be a few other species in there.

Some laboutis get aggressive, others don't. I've had them mixed with other wrasses just fine. Again, 150g helps. Also, not all of the fairy wrasses listed would be described as docile. There are varying degrees of aggression of the species, and having a variety of species helps.

None. They will not lose 1 bit of color without females. They will flash and display at each other.

Thanks. I was worried that I would have to a pair each for them to keep there colors. Is there any benefit to keeping them in pairs?

Is Radiant hard to QT? The place i got it from say they never seen them with parasites.... Not sure if that’s true!

No benefits, only negatives.

They can be delicate in the beginning, but they definitely can have parasites.

hmm okay, so my tank is 120g and not 150, and if i went with lineatus, rhomboid, isoceles and bathyphilu would that be enough variety and size of the tank?

Borderline in a 120g. Another fairy or 2 can help.

I think that is a great mix, but I would add more

looking at the complex chart, i would think-then adding-2 of the following? jordani, lubbocks, or katherine's, exquisite? I would worry about overcrowding, but if you guys think it actually helps with behaviors that would be a dream.

and would this preclude adding leopards or a flasher later?

wrasse list would then be- isoceles (currently in the tank) , rhomboid, lineatus, bathyphis and either- exquisite/lubbock/jordani, katherine? and potentially adding a flasher (blue/royal) and potentially a leopard at some point? i do still have YWG, 2 occ clowns, orchid dotty and 2 radial filefish, but they are very docile.

That would be fine and there wouldn't be compatibility issues with a leopard or flasher.

Ideally, yes. But introducing more peaceful species first and using a social acclimation box helps.

Females usually transition into males whether there is a male or not and males don't get along, usually to the death, or at least into hiding.
