Thats really peculiar, ive no idea why he did that
I know, it’s inexplicable, the other Fem has taken flight and buried itself (hopefully ok), I don’t understand why the Feminus though, a reminder that any fish can go rogue, i can only put it down to grumpy old fish syndrome.. I’m faced with a difficult decision now, I’ve stressed the whole tank out now trying to catch the thing, I may just have to let nature take its course or risk my other fish... I’ll try the trap tomorrow when they have chilled out over night....

One of my favourites too, is yours big
I got lucky in that both I've had have been small to start with :) My first earmuff lived for 5-7 years and died recently but I was lucky to get a second and have one in my tank again :)

They're absolutely model citizens and I've never even seen the smallest amount of aggression from them :D

My new Flame Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus Jordani) has a name now. I’d like to introduce y’all to Zuko. I love his little face so much already.

He is constantly exploring and chasing pods. He’s also the bravest little baby. He’s 1/3 the size of my Exquisite Wrasse and Vrolik’s Wrasse, but he hangs out with them like he’s the same size.

Also, his presence has brought some gorgeous iridescent blues and purples our of Boba (exquisite wrasse).

The 10th dorsal ray of my smaller Diamond Tail wrasse seem to start to elongate already. counting the ray of the larger one, I find it is the 10th ray that is the one that elongate. I hope I dont have to remove one of them out of my tank too quickly.

@david p.
How long have you had your Diamond Tail Flasher. He is really beautiful. You said you had him when he was a juvenile. I wonder how long it take for him to reach about 4 inches.
I also feed my fish multiple times a day with auto feeder in addition to feeding in AM and PM manually.
Nevrmind. I saw that you had him for about 1 year

Several weeks ago, I ordered a Blue Throat Fairy and got a Red Fin Fairy instead. I was disappointed but just have to make do. Not as beautiful, but OK. He is somewhat mellow. I released him to my DT together with my Diamond Tail Flashers. I got a few picture of him this AM.
