I know, it’s inexplicable, the other Fem has taken flight and buried itself (hopefully ok), I don’t understand why the Feminus though, a reminder that any fish can go rogue, i can only put it down to grumpy old fish syndrome.. I’m faced with a difficult decision now, I’ve stressed the whole tank out now trying to catch the thing, I may just have to let nature take its course or risk my other fish... I’ll try the trap tomorrow when they have chilled out over night....

Well compared to when I first got it yes it was a baby and now it's about 3 inches long

I got lucky in that both I've had have been small to start with
My first earmuff lived for 5-7 years and died recently but I was lucky to get a second and have one in my tank again 
Cool, Thats seems to be quite old for a wrasse from what ive read, ive been thinking about one but i think my tanks a bit too small lol.I got lucky in that both I've had have been small to start with
They're absolutely model citizens and I've never even seen the smallest amount of aggression from them
