So in my head I want a layered cone tower that kind of goes like a spiral staircase to the right medium sized height.

then on the left like a taller tower that kind of has a path of meandering rock down into the centre of the tank where I will make a cave for my pair of clownfish that live in my tank.

I've never made like a proper rock scape before like this so any input and ideas is welcome.

Heres what I have to work with so far, will post progress pics as I go along.

This is sort of medium height cone tower roughly on the right.

Solid ocean rock that I will proper stick together that all the other pieces of the bigger tower will stick to.
I'm hoping am angle grinder will let me work this a bit.
Then I've got the stuff I'm going to cover this with and hopefully make like a meandering path with.

If I need more rock I'll get more rock... or is it that we always need more rock?

Changed my mind. I dont want any ocean rock I dont think its needed.
I will just use another chunk of tonga.

Do you think this would be ok for the structure on the left?

The other side is now looking like this. Do these layouts look stupid? Any feedback is much appreciated .
Really hard to see if it looks ok when it's you shuffling your rocks about.

Having come back to it the top piece needed a 90 degree rotation as it looked kinda out of place.
