Bought an induction stove for fun. So far… fun!!

My RODI was making water super fast but also going through DI resin in like 100gallons so I must have busted my RO membrane. So I got a new one and I'm back to super slow water making but hopefully cleaner water.

Also bought a bunch of carbon. @JoJosReef @tbrown where do I get those things that replace filter socks?

You mean filter cups? I use the red sea ones for the new build. They are slightly smaller than 4", like the red sea filter sock slots. There are other places to her 4" filter cups of you need 4".

@Projects with Sam makes the cups,definitely invest in a couple inline TDS meters ,i use 3 on my unit... ;) :)

Do you have in-line TDS meters on your RODI station? If not, I recommend adding at least two. One before your membrane and one after. Another after your DI resin would be ideal, also.

Also anyone with cats, children, or other clambering beasts (or your just clumsy). You can boil a pot of water in two minutes and then slap your hand in the stove and not burn yourself with an induction stove.

I printed mine, (Other) Sam has some on his site depending on the sump you have.

Have you tried a high dose of Fluconazole? I ised Flux Rx at 4X dose (dosing recommended for bryopsis) to knock down bubble algae. Didn't kill anything except macro and micro algae, although one of my RFAs changed color.

Note: I continually ran an airstone and dosed PNS probio (and some Fiji Mud) during treatment.

No I have gas. But I did just buy a REALLY nice recliner. I wasn't even looking or wanting one. But then I sat in it. I now have my own dedicated reef viewing chair. The dogs can have the couch.
