wildfires. a tasteless quip about wildfires. the joke itself is: it was a lot hotter just recently. That's why they sent you there.

But I'm not going to say that. Many people lost everything, some even their lives.

I have treated this thread as a “public forum” so have not spoken my mind but I am tired and I think I consider all of you personal friends.

Well I'm heading home today. We accomplished our mission and in that I am so happy and proud however I am also physicaly and emotionally dead. It was a horrendous mess where people were forced to work horrendous hours and an incredible workload. All the while we were hit with horrendous emails trying their hardest to scare people into quitting while some were even fired without cause while working the fire.

On the other hand every resident I spoke too was incredibly grateful and helpful and multiple charities and companies came out to help us. Shout to little ceasers and world central kitchen for volunteering to feed us they made the job possible. Also to fire station 69 and their guys who were also incredibly accomdating.

On to the tanks I am not excited to return to them and all the work they will require but Ill get to that hurdle when it comes.

Idk if you were involved here but, after hurricane Ian devastated my area, it was people like you that came in and made the difference between ruins and recovery. Thank you for what you do!

So both tanks look good!

Dinos are still there but not overtaking the tank. The siphon on the eel tank failed and was very lucky to not have the tank overflow but luckily the issue was caught in time. @tbrown I don't think siphon overflows are worth it. Do you?

The only other bad news I see is that my RODI filter shattered in the cold again.

Otherwise tanks look great!!

My bell siphons was great on the aquaponics system I had years ago but I'm not a fan in aquariums. They're kinda noisy too at times.
