Actors seem to still be doing well! Of all the corals I’ve never even lost a polyp of an acro.

Have to say that I much prefer my old tunze skimmer. That one you can just lift the cup off and clean it in the sink. This new one I have not been able to remove the cup and it gets clogged super easy.

I think in retrospect I should have rotated the rocks 180*. Then I’d have had more sand space at the front and a better view from the end. But oh well. Still looks good

I wanted to say “Side A” because of the perfectly formed arch, but I think “Side B” looks more uniform.

Both sides are fantastic, and there’s plenty of real estate for hammers, frogspawn, and torches!

B has more depth. It leaves a lot to see and question. Side A is more self explanitory.

Overall, it looks like a different tank from side a to b. In my opinion makes that system and rock scape much cooler.

Tried a hydrogen peroxide dip and I’m worried it killed the coral:grimacing-face:
It’s gone very pale…

Shoot. Got Leptoseris and leptostrea mixed up and gave it twice the peroxide I should have.

Instead of a dip, I prefer taking the rock out, dripping pure hydrogen peroxide directly on the algae after paring it down and not touching the corals with H2O2. Instead, I have a dropper for regular saltwater to keep the coral from drying out too much. They can tolerate a bit of time in the air.

I use a Q-Tip and apply it similarly to Jojo.

Ah. That makes sense. Good luck with the treatment! I never dealt with turf algae.

It does look like it did some damage. Try the dropper or q-tips and do it again? Let it sit for a good 5 - 10 minutes of bubbling?

Side A for me but I’ve always been partial to arches and open holes for fish to swim through. Whole thing looks good though!
