Only solution I can think of is to get some MP40s or rip offs so I can reduce cords in the tank.

I cut a slit in tubing to serve as “trim” around any lid openings; you can double or triple up tube diameters if needed to achieve a TIGHT fit around your cords!

Tubing diameter will be predicated by the thickness of the lid: I haven’t scrolled back to see the thickness of yours!

I like to use the thick wall braided vinyl tubing for longer radius corners and straight lines when making lid trim! For tighter radius corners and holes; I like to use softer, thinner walled vinyl rubber, or silicone tubing!

If the appropriate tube diameter to comfortably clamp onto your lid isn’t consuming enough of the air gap between lid and cord(s); install the next diameter up of like tubing directly over the first piece of tubing trim to make it twice as thick!

This actually a bit of an issue as most mornings it is so aggressive that it becomes difficult to safely clip the algae to the clip

I mean this, once I glue it, could solve everything. Idk if you can see but I just added airline to the side with a gap for wires.

I miss my one I had, I think I had maybe 3 Jawfish in my tank within a year after having my Yellowhead.
I think it was a Tiger, Red and possibly the Brazil Yellowhead (she was definitely bluer than the usual specimens brought up).
