These clownfishes doesn’t seem right

One of them seems to have a larger eye than normal and one can’t close its gills. Tested for ammonia and nitrites are all normal but fish is still not active and eating.

I bought these fishes about a month ago at a local fish store, the fishes are acclimated and quarantined.

It was like yesterday that I found this issue, I had introduced some corals to the tank a week before and the corals are all dipped and quarantined. One of them seemed to have been bitten by the other fishes.

It sounds like there was some bullying going on at one point but the fact that none are eating points to more serious issues.

When you say quarantined, how were they QT? Was it at the LFS?

Do you see any odd whiteish patches or mucus on the sides?

I fed them yesterday and they were not eating, they were quarantined both at store “presumably” and at home as well. There are whitish patches on the sides.

I see some ragged fins and the one in the middle has the eye problem, correct. Whiteish patches is likely Brook be we need some better pics or video.

What do you mean the fish were acclimated and quarantined. Very few LFS quarantine fish so you should assume they were not quarantined there unless you have talked to the LFS and know their quarantine protocol.

Wha do you mean when you say that your quarantined the fish at home? What was your protocol? If you did not do a medicated quarantine or an alternative approach like the tank transfer method then it is very possible the fish have a disease/parasite.

I did a 10 day quarantine with medication such as methylene blue and afterwards, seachem cupramine.

I don’t think so, the mucus layer is not that thick, only one little speck on the fish, kinda the size of a sesame seed.

“Final copper concentration is 0.5 mg/L . . . Leave at this concentration for 14 days.”

“Although most fish tolerate Cupramine™ to 0.8 mg/L, it is not advisable to exceed 0.6 mg/L copper”

These may or may not be related to what is going on with the clownfish. The quarantine process used was not long enough to effectively eliminate the any parasites which came with the fish.
