Some top down macro photographs from yesterday. Corals seem to be doing ok. Shot under Radions set at 14k and white balance corrected in camera.

Another update. I decided to get off of my lazy butt and put some light under my tank. I had been getting by with a flashlight when I needed more light. I upgraded my Apex to the 2016 version and have several EB 832's so I decide to use a 1Link port to power the light. So...

I picked up a 12v-24v LED Light Bar from Amazon. Did some soldering, mounting and wiring and now I have light under my tank at the flip of a switch.

I had an on/off toggle switch waiting to be useful. Here is the switch temporarily mounted on wood (ghetto I know but temporary, I am waiting on a project box). The wood is mounted to my 8020 T-Slot stand.

I already had a DC24 to Bare Wire cable (from another experiment that did not work out) so I wired that up the the light bar and mounted it to a piece of wood.

Next, I mounted the light bar under the tank. The second piece of wood is attached to a side panel for rigidity.

Here is the light bar turned on.

Finally, here is the sump light up.

I like this so much that I ordered another LED light bar to install on the right side of the tank. That shop light in the last photo is now gone. I used that to check some of the wiring as well as my Apex code.

A five second video from last night starring two of my three Coral Beauty Angels. There is a cameo at the end by one of my Banggai Cardinalfish.

Jealous of that Tesla battery system! Do you have solar panels too? That's my goal someday. Nice tank too;)

Thanks Freddie. Too bad about your Gold Flake angel. My favorite fish.

Ted,
It was my wife's favorite of all time too. They sure are beautiful fish on the outside and loved it's laid back personality too.
Thanks for the thoughts and it was the first Goldflake that we ever had.

I can sure see why it's your avi... :)
