They told me it wouldn't spread.

I started with maybe three tunicates and now I have over eight. The reason I am posting this is because I would like to know why they spread in my tank and not others.

I don't remember who exactly but I heard some were they just die of. I really like the tunicates and was just wondering what they ate and that sort of stuff. The tank is about 10 months old.

Wow neat thread. The hitchhiker was the tunicate in this scenario though.

The only sponges that survived in my tank now live on a decorator crab.

I have purple and sulfur sponges. Some that are white or even a light brown. Mostly, they grow in places where corals can't, so I leave them along. The tunicates, on the other hand, don't care and will grow wherever they can!
