hi everyone im thinking of doing a new sump myself and a buddy did a 30g long but to me its not doing so well and getting lots of microbubbles.. thinking of putting my 55g with a new layout for my 120g.. if you guys have any great designs that work for you please post

that sump has a lot of options, I run it sockless on a friends tank and have 0 issues.

Is that a full piece where the sock or you have a opening

no it has a gate (over-flow) into a skimmer/refug area... the bigger area in the layout above has the sock emptying into the area where the skimmer sits.

No there is no micro bubble problem in mine.
