My hammer colony broke apart while cleaning behind it and when I was cleaning it up and removing a few frags, o noticed some egg like globs that were easily removed.
Im guessing some kind of tube worm as I see small white worms in the second picture breaking through, but I don’t know what kind of work that is. I was tempted to leave it on and let the fish eat at it, but it came off easily and as I was fragging and dipping it, they all came off easy.
My blood shrimp lives on this hammer colony, but I thought crustaceans keep their eggs on them.
Anyway, thought it was weird annd interesting and wanted to post.
