Guys, wanted to share an interesting and puzzling development. I got this small rock with a few zoas from one of the reefers a long time ago, must have been at least 9-12 months ago. About 30 days ago I noticed something small growing, thought it was a few closed up zoa polyps clustered together. It is now clear that its some sort of a torch. Doesn't look like its from any of mine, so must have either hitchhiked on this rock or one of the plugs. Does anyone know what type of a torch this is?

Corals.com got their Torch coral to spawn and produce live babies. There is a thread on this some where here. Something similar must happened in the tank of the person who sold you the frag. Please notified him. It would be very interesting. He deserve to know that he did a great job taken care of his corals.
