I have had to do that more than once, the worst is when a fish you don't want on the line jumps on

Omg lol..... I guess there's more than one way to catch a fish haha

Do you know this person Rev?

LOL! Yes I took the pic. It was eating all his zoanthids and he used a barbless hook. Caught in less than like 10 secs.

LOL! Yea actually it's my buddy from the local reef club. We both had poles but he got the catch! :D The fish is still living as far as I know and this was probably over a year ago.

Yea the barbless doesnt really hurt them at all.

lol... awesome.

Size 18 hook?

Ive had to use one of my #18 nymph hooks (fly tying) to help a friend catch a large Domino damsel before.. Good times Good times..

Yea it was very funny at the time!

I was going to try that on a blue damsel I had but finally ended up catching him using the inverted water bottle trick. lol

better than blow-darts!!! :D
lol... thats how my buddy caught his huge damsel.... the thing as like 5" long and super mean....that fish would bounce off the glass trying to attack him and if his hand went in boom!!!instant blood...he tryed fishing, traps etc...nothing...just a cube of food and a blow dart did the trick!!!!!lol:tongue:

ok I definitely need to own these at all times they are just called barbless hooks? Can I get them anywhere there is fishing stuff i.e. sears?
