if you forget to turn your flow back on
Thanks @revhtreeWOW! Beautiful!
I was wondering about that , during live sales too
This isn’t that much different than my normal full blown flow on though.Get ready to get hammered by people for even suggesting that gas exchange, respiration can have a huge effect on PE. Better clear out your PM box - wait, we don't have to do that here, do we? You can watch them get super hairy even as angels or blennies are cruising around munching on them... I guess that when you gotta breathe, you gotta breathe.
This has long been a secret for vendors and others to stop all flow when photographing before posting photos of stuff for sale. For hobbyists, it just happens when we forget to turn pumps back on.
I feel like cutting the pumps off just makes it easier to focus on polyps, vs when they're flapping in the breeze. All of the corals in my system that have excellent polyp extension I would quantify as happy. The few who don't, I definitely have concerns for.Get ready to get hammered by people for even suggesting that gas exchange, respiration can have a huge effect on PE. Me too….. that’s why the flow was off. I have to target feed them bc I use interceptor every 2-3 months bc I hate pods.BTW - if that is a dragon pipefish that I see, well done. Some of my favorite fish of all time.
