Montastrea perhaps then. I thought collecting hard corals from Florida waters was discouraged.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's illegal unless it came from legally farmed liverock or you have a special permit.

Don't call the police just yet...I have a permit. I've had this piece for two months. This piece was in a designated dredge area near the inlet. Three days later and this piece would have been blasted onshore covered in 2000 tons of sand. :cry: I actually saved it from certain doom.

What a shame it would've been if that had happened! I just wonder about the pieces some people have lost. . .just makes you wonder
