Thanks Nick. It colored up in the tank. It was just a bright green 3 polyp stump when I found it.

You can tell if it is a montestella cavernosa by touching it on its septas.This piece is protected by NOAA and Fish & Wildlife in American waters.

A friend of mine gave me a piece a couple years ago I didnt know what it was, and almost got busted for it. Federal laws can fine you up to 500 fine for each polyp.Just letting you know.
