I haven't seen anything since I added the bottle of coralline 2 months ago, it could be coincidence in timing but these spots appeared very soon after (2 weeks) I rigged my sump with a standalone CO2 scrubber and brought my pH up from 7.7-7.9 to 8.15-8.21. The info sheet from algae barn seems to emphasize the importance of pH in growing coralline, so I assume that did the trick or maybe will at least accelerate the growth and spread of it! Never thought I would be this excited about seeing algae !

Coralline can happen very quickly - or take forever. Whenever I add new dry rock to my system I usually have purple coralline sprouting within a month.
