Continue to cycle. Might be coming down now. Maybe sometime in August.

How loud is your lifereef skimmer?

The only thing I hear is the water coming out of the outlet. I am going to intall a 90° fitting on it to quite it down.

Thanks

I am very happy how it came out. I hope it looks good when covered with corarls also. I am not an artistic person and it took me a long time to put it together. It is not what I had in mind when I started.

@jft I added the 90° fitting today to the skimmer and did a walk around video.

Still cycling so the skimmer drain is open just letting whatever is collect go back in the sump.

Think my cycle is getting close to being complete.

Tested nitrate yesterday and it looks like it is between 40 and 65 on the Nyos card. Dosed DrTims ammonia again looks like it is dropping quickly now compared to the other times.

It took 36 hours for the NH3 to get back down to the 0.015 ppm it was when I dosed 20 ml of DrTims ammonia on Sunday. So getting close. I will dose later this week and see where we are.

FYI When your Seneye says you have 1 day it does not mean you have a day to change it. I was expecting it to go to hours when it was less then a day.

Getting closer to the cycle being complete.

Last dose of ammonia took 27 hours to get back to "zero". Nitrite is now at zero. I had to order more ammonia when that gets here I will dose again and see if both go back to zero within 24 hours.

Been doing some membrane test to see what gets me the lowest tds water. The 75 gpd and spectrapure membrane were purchased earlier this year and had been run for about 3 months then stored in the fridge in a ziplock bag. The TW30-1812-50 was purchased last week I was expecting it to be the new model TW30-1812-50HR that replaced the non HR model but the vendor I purchase from must have still had old stock.
