I currently have a candy cane shrimp that has settled in my tank. Never really comes out but I know he is in there. My yellow watchman goby went missing day one when I put them both in the tank and has not been seen since, about 5 weeks later. I have a yasha goby and another candy cane pistol that are paired coming. Should I introduce the new pistol to the opposite side of the tank or will they all get along okay. It’s a 40 gal tank.

So you say there is still hope!? Would like to know about adding the other shrimp though and if there would be a problem or try and keep them separate

absolutely. They can be extremely timid and for a very long time. I thought for sure mine had died. He is only an inch long.

Mine may have been smaller than that. Had another candy cane pistol and a yasha show up today so see what happens!
