Thoughts on Aqua Clear 110

[Porcupine Reefer]

I put a aquaclear 110 on a clients tank and its been working for the last month. It's a light stocked 75 gallon, 2 clownfish, 1 coral beauty angelfish, 1 melanurus wrasse, 1 yellowtail damselfish, 1 falco hawkfish. Can this filter work for the long run? I only put it on the tank because at the time of setting this tank up I really needed a fliter in a pinch, after the canister filter I originally bought failed me. This is the tank now. Should I consider a filtration upgrade in the future?

Tank looks good. I have used AquaClear 70 & 110 for many years. Very dependable with large media area. I fill them with rubble and grow pods. Your coral, live rock and substrate is your biofilter..

I had a AC110 and IMHO is a great filter. I think I still have a modified insert to add media on it.

I also ran an AquaClear 110 on a 75g that was moderately stocked. The AquaClear with rubble rock, and a little floss and carbon on top did an excellent job. I did switch it out with a canister because it was kind of loud. I kept it however because its my backup should I need one.
