Thoughts on new Maxspect Jumps?

Almost pulled the trigger on the Gen 1 clearance sale. Glad I didn't. Anyone receive the new version yet? Hopefully the controllability problems have become less of an issue?

I have an older gen1, it lasted about 4 years and started to slow down. Barely pumps any water at all now, but i kept it as a back up, just in case pump.
