What are your guys's thoughts about wild caught oysters and clams (southern nc) in my tank or refugium

It would add a good biodiversity but check if it’s illegal or not to take from the wild

Oysters breed like crazy and every time they do you're likely to experience a bit of a nutrient spike. Good natural water filters though :)

At one time I had 80 Pacific oysters, I must of had about 150 out of them 80 survived. They were in refugium, oyster from Baja California very hardy, especially Azul Sol brand, I need to do again. Great for filtering, and they add detritus the corals loved.
