I'm playing around with this 60 gal Acrilic I'd like to setup as a bare bottom SPS but would like some feedback on what issues I may run into the future with a Scape like this one. I did give enough space in front and in the back for maintenace. Thanks for all your help:)

I would suggest to keep the scape below the upper 2/3 of the tank so that the sps have room to grow into big colonies. That middle rock at a slant should be a little lower, maybe use a smaller rock to wedge it up? Ideally you would wanna keep the scape below 1/2 the tank height if you want a long term sps reef since that gives you alot of room to grow.

Overall its a good open scape which is good for lots of flow. The only tweak is that middle top most rock

My original Scape was lower but I changed it last minute after talking to a friend. Problem is he doesnt grow SPS so I should of stuck with my gut. Yes good point, the SPS are going to need a lot of room to grow like you said so I'll scale it down a bit.

Looking back to your reefing roots: Did you start with Instant Ocean salt?
