Been out of the hobby about 2 years, coming back with my biggest tank ever a waterbox 90.

Built this scape, but now I feel like adding sand would be more of a pain to maintain then it’s worth. Originally wanted sand for inverts, nassarius snails a conch, and more space for pods. I also like rock flower nems but don’t necessarily need sand for them.

What concerns me is the spacing between the back glass and the way the rock is. Siphoning seems like it would be tough. And I just imagine all the detritus being stuck behind there.

I think you got a good scape.
Sometimes you just can not get to all the sand to clean it, that is ok.
It will be a area where you will not disturb the pods etc.
