Amazingly adapted to living with the tide coming in and out!

I've seen posts of builds that talk about making a tide pool tank, but I can't imagine replicating the turbulence of the surge and ebb of the waves in a rock pool. Would be a cool concept, though!

Haven’t been to crystal cove in a while! You’re making me want to visit soon!

I also want to see more people do cold water nem tanks, I remember someone having a California inspired tank with strawberry anemones everywhere

@TangerineSpeedo has a temperate tank with all that good stuff!

I want to try this. Goes along with my favorite setup.. a reef pond.

I worked at the conservancy here for 6 years. Walking the tide pools during my breaks (and during not my breaks, LOL) was spectacular for my soul!
The biodiversity in these tidepools is spectacular, from spanish shawl nudibranchs to ochre stars to octopuses to lobsters to limpets to oysters--the list goes on and on. There's quite a variety of grasses, macroalgae, birds and fish as well.
Listen to @JoJosReef and visit if you can!

Salt point up north is epic tide pooling
