Don't you hate that? lol... The first few days of a sand wrasse hiding are nerve-wracking. You always wonder is he gonna come out, or did he take a dirt nap in the sand?!
I've been lucky, and I'm glad you have been too.

Beautiful! I’m quite jealous, where did you get it?
At my LFS they’ve had him since Jan 2 so to get rid of him they sold him to me cheap
Yeah it drives me crazy, every day that passes increases the urge to run your finger through the sand to check on him.Don't you hate that? lol... The first few days of a sand wrasse hiding are nerve-wracking. You always wonder is he gonna come out, or did he take a dirt nap in the sand?!

My bottom glass is clear, so I would go in the sump with a flashlight and hunt to make sure he was still in there. If he was positioned right, I could see him breathing... then I would feel much better [emoji23]
That's great, the longest i have dealt with was 8 days for a leopard. I have two earmuffs coming this Saturday, we'll see if they can break the record!
I have a 3" Timor, I didn't see her for three days when I first put her in QT. She still gets a little spooky and buries herself if I put my hand in the DT for any more than about 10 seconds
Overall, she's active, peaceful (even with inverts), very healthy, great personality, and acts as a vacuum cleaner in my tank. Every bit of food is never missed by her.
She handled 30 days copper no problem
Cool looking wrasse! Don't see them too often.
