There are a couple hundred small brownish clear flatworms (size around 2mm) that are all over the filtration area of my aio tank. I also noticed a couple on my duncan, and my toadstool. They seem to be everywhere, im wondering if they are eating the coral, and what i should do about it. Any help would be great!

Hi. Do you have any fish? If so, what type?

Flatworm exit works well. You need multiple doses over time since it doesn’t kill the eggs.

Tbh if they aren’t causing any harm to corals or fish I would leave them, adding those chemicals to your tank will lead to other issues, try to use natural methods to get rid of them. There are various predatory fish/inverts you can try to keep their numbers at bay, if you are just now seeing them they have been in your system a lot longer than you may have thought.

Another thing to take into consideration is if you do decide to go the chemical route to eradicate them, if you are unable to remove the dead worms your nitrates will sky rocket from all the decaying matter and potentially cause a tank crash.

How often do they need to be fed? I only get to feed once a day because of school.
My six line doesn't even touch any food I put in the tank. He eats all the pest and pods in the tank
