4 more month update, survived being moved to a larger aquarium, now has two heads! The smaller is also growing well. The middle hammer is not a baby stalk one, but the smaller ones seem to be outgrowing it!

The stalks got busted during the move so they are basically laying down on the rock, doesn’t seem to be a problem!

Nice job!

After having hammers and frogspawn for over a decade and never growing any out, I decided to try last year and now have 3 that are what I would consider mostly grown up. Feels good.

About 1.5 years growth on this hammer from a spawn a found. About the size of one normal sized head of hammer. The frogspawn next to it are nubs I popped off frogspawn stalks around the same time. Also still relatively small but maybe the size of a small split head.

You can snip them off with a bone cutter if the stalk is long enough so your not cutting into the flesh
