Has anyone ever used TSM aquatics auctions? Just got a ZOA King Midas 2 polyps for $15. It just came yesterday and put it in with lights off for 2 hrs and a dim light for an hour before nighttime. This is it now mid day, is it just really small so looks like this? Looks like nothing is there.

Its closed. Coral can take some time to get acclamated to a new tank, water parameter differences, lighting differences. Dont dim the lights. Run your lights normally how you would and let it get used to its new home.

Yes have them on normal schedule now, just when I first introduced it yesterday had them dim. Thats what I was hoping that it was just closed, but wasn’t sure cuz I got a Duncan that has hardly any color, pretty pale but was green in the picture but also got a mushroom which is doing great. So I guess can be 50/50 with them

You also look to have a fairly new tank. The biome is still stabilizing so theres that variable too. Coral in a new tank is taking a bigger risk than putting it in a mature reef.

Yes about 3 months. Have two Duncan’s growing really well already and mushroom doubles in size
