Thanks a lot WD!If you have a flush valve, try to flush the membrane for a minute or two. The reason that they suggest that you run the unit without the membrane initially is to flush the sediment and carbon block first. That will get rid of any carbon fines or dust so it doesn’t foul the RO membrane. If your unit comes with a flush valve on the flow restrictor, open it up to blast the wastewater side of the RO membrane.
