To rinse or not to rinse..

I bought Arag live sand, black color. Can I just put it in or should I rinse it all

I just dumped it in and let the skimmer and mechanical filtration pull out all the fine grains.

if you want to rinse, that only shows it doesn't reduce the bac on the sand only the silty side of things. those will floc out in time, or you can forego silt altogether and start without any.

99.99% of tanks using live sand do not rinse you are fully ok with that mode~i really like arrive alive its all ive used over the years.

I've rinsed, not rinsed but realized the skim milk look will come out in the filter socks and clog up the neck of my skimmer for 2 days. I personally think it's easier to rinse, even if you don't have the time now, because you'll have to take the time later. and the flocculant bags that come with the sand just take the silt out of suspension temporarily. One good sand blast with powerheads will stir it back up later anyway....
