It’s almost as if it was a chemical burn . If you can put white lights on it so it can be seen ?

I think it may be, I was dosing “all for reef”right in front of power head, dumb mistake by me, now I just put it in my auto top off water… wondering if it will heal or is it scared for life?

I don’t see all for reef chemically burning anything.

Let’s get some white light on subject matter.

There are several types of coral warfare like leathers and noxious chemical warefare. Sweeper tentacles from LPS are another type of coral warfare, which is what I would expect to see on toadstool

Never had a toadstool do that but I have had a lobed leather turn black and I had to cut the area off which then grew into another coral.

I currently have something similar, where a BTA, after being settled for about three years, has just decided to park itself right next to my magnificent green toadstool. I'll watch it for a few days before I intervene.
