Toadstool coral splitting?

Hi guys,

I've had this toadstool in my tank for approximately a year now and has reached a size of about 14 inches! Over the past 3 days the toadstool has not opened but has shown a little sign of polyp extension each night when lights are off. Nothing in the tank has change apart from adding a golden head goby. The temp, salinity and params are all correct and all other corals are thriving.

My guess was that the recently added goby has caused detritus and sand to land in it but was unable to see anything. I now see a crease in the middle of the toadstools "neck" and it has reconnected itself to another piece of liverock. There is red/brown skin flaking from the upper-middle of the coral too. Almost looks like its splitting??? Any help would be much appreciated.

Sounds like it is shedding which is totally normal for leathers.
