is my toadstool dying or dead? It has been like this about 2+ weeks now. It has shed before and closed for a week but never got this blotchy Brown or for this long. Thanks.

I’d say it’s upset, but doesn’t look bad. Keep a eye out for black tissue. Keep your water in good shape and it should recover.

The flow in not to strong there. Medium to light. It has been there about a year.

If it's not rotting it's probably okay. I would try to blow it off as best you can either by placing it in front of a powerhead or with a turkey baster. It's hard to tell just from the photos but toadstools are weird in that they can look unhappy for months at a time then one day they open up like nothing was ever wrong.

It doesn’t appear to be rotting. I have blown it off a few times but I’ll hit it again.

I have saw someone have problem like this but it should recover soon when the water stabilize. And make sure enough light not too much water movement

Yeah ph is stable. I dont think the anemone can reach it but it’s possible. Do you think I should move it’s location?

Will do. I’m going to try to remove some anemones today too.

Mine does weird things also. It is fine one day and the next day looks rough.

Mine has done that in the past but it has always been a few days this is more long term so it was making me nervous

High flow it might be trying to shed but not enough flow. I keep mine in high flow and about 250 to 300 par. Sps tank 30,000g turn over.

So I moved it to higher flow and it seems to be responding well. I can see polyps starting to pop out. Would it hurt to dip it in some revive or should I just let it be for now.
