Notice what appeared to be a stalk like growth on one of the Toadstool. Does anyone know if this is natural propagation?

I read about it but haven't seen pictures of it. Btw this is a small (Tonga) frag which I placed high and in front of a power head in effort to color up. Don't know if small frags are capable of self propagation. Will monitor and see what happens.

'Natural Propagation' method is they drop a piece of the crown so no it's not normal. i can't really tell from the picture quality, it could be an injury that has developed polyps (usually takes about 5 weeks for that to happen from date of injury) or something else.
