Thank you for taking the time to read this,

I've had about 6 toadstool coral in my tank for about 6 months, and as a whole they are all doing well with growth and pretty regular polyp extension. I have concerns about one however as it seems the base is receding even though it is open... it's in the top left portion of my tank where I would say the flow is a bit less (as my gyre is on the top right of the tank), and it's situated below my tank with PAR about 125).

I'm not sure how to proceed... if it weren't happy where flow or lighting was inadequate wouldn't it be closed? I'm not sure if I should move it or if other measures need to be taken (if any). Any help is most appreciated, and if needed I can send pictures.

I'll send pictures tomorrow when I can. No it's not too slimy but yes does occasionally get some algae buildup and discoloration.
