Lately I've had this huge interest in getting a pair of tomato clowns. I've heard they are really mean and aggressive.

What are your thoughts and experiences?

Comparable or worse than maroons because they are some of my favorites as well...

GO!!!

I got a big Tomato clown. I have had him since I first started the hobby 3 or 4 years ago. I have a totally aggressive live stock because I didn't want to get rid of him. He is very mean. He attacks my hand every time I'm in the tank. I went from a 36 gallon to a 65 gallon, so that doesn't help any. They would probably be easier to keep in a larger tank with the other fish. I'm ready to part ways with him and go with a more laid back live stock. I got one for sale if you just want to try one. Lol!!

That's what I was thinking. Get a small pair LAST and see what happens.

Things are backwards in my tank. I got a friendly six-line and a mean hippo tang. Lol

I saw yours at the meeting at jays on your phone and got one a few weeks later. They are cool but with a sailfin tang, spotted grouper, tomato clown, and domino damsel, he stays stressed a lot.

I am fixing to try to get rid of everything but the fox face and sailfin tang after I get back from vacation. I want to add some more docile fish.

Things are somewhat peaceful in my tank but I'm considering getting rid of the hippo because it causes the most "chaos" in my opinion. Would like to see my fox face a little less "bothered".. The tang is always up in its business... And all the other fishes too

I'm torn. I like the Tang but need some thing that is a little less "personal" than the Hippo. Its always up in the business of everything. I don't like that.

Need some orange in the tank as well, fish that is.

Yeah I'll be needing the trap in the future but not quite sure when. I was thinking a trio of Bartlet's Anthias would be nice. Still can't decide... I want something you don't see often in other tanks.

My lfs has a breeding pair of gold stripe for 200$ very tempted. I was there when he transferred them into a different tank and they let him carefully grab them. They are extremely docile. I need them haha
